Miniature and Showcase of Malaysian Islamic Culture & Civilization
For instance, those artifacts of ancient coins found along the sea front and reclamation areas of Straits of Malacca, from Bandar Hilir, to present sites of Parkson-Mahkota, to Dataran Merdeka, Kota Laksamana, Trenggera, Limbongan, Klebang Besar, along the Sg Melaka ( while project of beautification of river along the Melaka Riverside, Kg Hulu,, Kg. This is the miniature and showcase of Islamic Culture and Civilization in Malaysia.
Digitalization of Islamic Money Museum
This is one of the important cultural assets discovered, needed to be preserved, documented archaeologically and academically, if possible, to be digitalized in the project of new Islamic Money Museum’s complex, as part of the digitalization and ICT programs of Malaysian IT society, strategically locked and structured into the powerhouse of MSC-Melaka.
This shall be more incentive and encouragement for students and youth to spend more time in ICT-related cultural assets investment programs, by digitalizing all our museums and cultural tourism industry, from educational institutions to capital and financing world. This is part of the learning curve for the new generation, if their vision and movement can be strategically digitalized and linked with our more innovative MSC and ICT Program of tomorrow!
Investment Programs of Islamic World
The above museum’s collections, collections of banknotes, coins, medals, banking negotiable instruments, bills, papers, in form of collectibles or antiques or sentimental collections, shall be classified as Cultural Assets (CA) or Cultural Property (CP), if these museum’s collections has been scientifically researched, professionally authenticated and evaluated, culturally and academically documented, and be legally structured and packaged as one of the Securitization Program, or after professional instrumentalization,, be collateralized and securitized for capital market trading purposes, then we all can see how interesting and exciting for the Islamic world to invest and to participate. It meant from hobby, from fun, from leisure, from enjoyment and educational or cultural purposes, to turn to a long term investment world, is a good educational for Islamic world to explore.
SECURITALIZATION & COLLATERALIZATION
Viewed from the corporate synergy, trading of financial derivatives in capital market of today, from the leveraging skills, from the aggressive performance of fund investment of hedge fund, investment bankers, corporate players in capital market and financial world, they must realize our biggest challenges is;-
Flowchart:
(A) how to unlock the potential hidden values of those Cultural Assets “CA” and Cultural Property “CP” as part of the Museum Collections “MC”, with its newly unleashed Museum Values “MV”;
(B) how to structure it as tradable and negotiable assets, with its attached “Certificate of Authenticity” (COA) ,then
(C) documented in its newly created “Ownership” and “ “Clean Title “ , a legal paper of “ Document of Ownership and Title (DOT)” shall be issued, this is the credentials and testimonials to negotiate, to trade, to invest.
(D) Most importantly, all these newly created shall be insured, to work out its “Insurance Value” (IV) and “ Archaeological Value” (AV), “Cultural Value” (CVA)….normally;
(E) with the Insurance Binder “ IB” be issued by insurance company, then these classified Appraised Assets “AS” of your museum’s collections, shall be kept at the bonded areas, say, bank vault or secured areas, with Safe Keeping Receipt “SKR” be created and issued, as the Negotiable Instruments “NI” .
(F) With all these (A) (B) (C) (D) (E) well packaged tradable and negotiable documents and instruments be issued, then we should invite the interesting parties, vested interested parties, in form of strategic alliances, smart partnerships or stakeholders, work together as collaborative team, like investment bankers, insurers, fund or expertise investors, appraisers, valuers, auction house, events manager, corporate lawyers & CPA…..etc.
PROCESS OF INSTRUMENLIZATION
This is the basic process and scenario of securitalization ( process to securitize the appraised assets, for underwriting purposes) and of collateralization ( process to collateralize your appraised assets).
This is what we meant for “ Instrumentalization”, by way to instrumentalize the appraised assets, as one of the negotiable, marketable and tradable instruments, for fund raising, for capital soliciting, for synergizing your potential investors and partners, in any flexible and viable form of your partnership, by way of smart partnership or strategic alliances or stakeholders or collaborative approaches, this is one of the way to leverage, to unlock and to enhance your own hidden strength, assets, human capital…….intangible assets, hidden capital, is your own intellectual property/ assets !!!
Going Public : Corporate Synergy In Capital Market
a) The above proposed securitization, collateralization or instrumentalization programs, in fact, is part of the proposed investment plan and corporate exercises for funding and capital raising, under the process of unlocking the real values out of the hidden cultural property , is a new wave of unleashing the values of the cultural assets, by leveraging the IP (intellectual property) and structure the CA into a form of new tradable, marketable, exchangeable and negotiable instruments, either in form of stocks, bonds or private placements , as asset-based products.
b) We should leverage our strength and power through M & A, Takeover, Reverse Merger, Exchange Merger, or any viable and acceptable corporate synergy or corporate exercise to further unlock the cash, fund and valued added from Public Listing….or converge it as Assets-based security for private placement, or to securitize or collateralize .
c) Definitely, these new products can be digitalized into a digital IT industry, as one of the productive and ongoing business transaction online, listed as IT counter, for investment and trading purposes, for examples, collection of coins, banknotes, antiques pen, watches, antiques, sentimental collectibles, postcards, documents, archives, books of historical values, antiques cars & etc, as what eBay.com conducting their businesses……
d) Islamic arts and collections of coins, banknotes, banking and financing instruments can also be corporatized and traded in capital market, auction markets, not only in Islamic world, but also in global market, for enhancing and repositioning the Islamic arts and culture, as part of the world heritage and cultural property, to turn the conservation of Islamic cultural property’s value , into the new cultural economic and industry. This is new economic and cultural forces of Islamic world to be reckoned with. Those gold dinar is one of them, besides those collection of disused banknotes and coins.
OIC For New Cultural Industry & Economy
For OIC countries, they must adopt a paradigm shift for a simple cultural museum, a non profit, from permanent exhibition center, to a dynamic and energetic world of collection for investment, from educational and cultural to corporate investment world. This is one of the advance enhancement program for a conservative perspective vision of cultural property and heritage, to converse and converge to one of a collection investment industry, a new cultural industry and cultural economy.
This new cultural economy and cultural industry can be culturally transformed into a Road Show among the OIC and Middle East countries, among the ASEAN countries, themed under your imaginative theme of “ International Islamic Money Road Show “ or “ World Islamic Civilization & Money Exhibition “ or any……as a powerhouse to build your own new services industry, packaged under the “Sustainable Development: Cultural Tourism” of World Bank and UNESCO…………you can work closely with Central Banks and Mints, and any financial and banking institutions ,also Ministries of Culture, Art, Heritage, or of Tourism, or of Education, or of Youth……any, no less, OIC countries !
